I don't belive that anyone is born with a purpose, but I do believe that we can give ourselves our own purposes to live. Some live for another person, to indulge, to explore, and some simply to live. It can be anything, but it's up to you what you want your purpose to be. If you want it to be love then your purpose could then be to obtain it and once you've done that your purpose may be to live for that person. As for finding love, I've heard many different ideas. Some say you have to let love find you and some say you have to love yourself first and others say patience is key. Whichever way, again, it's mostly up to you how things come into your life. Whatever happens, I think you'll come into love sometime in your life, I'm just not sure when or how.

I'm not much for social interactions either besides with friends and family that I am already particularly close to. I have maybe 4 genuinely close friends, but I don't even talk to them about everything. I also live with my mom and grandpa, and I never willingly talk to my grandpa. I used to as a child but then I moved away and came back about 4 years ago. In those 4 years I have barely spoken to him. I'm not very bothered by it but I suspect he might be. And anybody who I don't already know, I usually don't say a word to them. I am very quiet at school and never talk to someone unless they ask me a question. I'm just not a very social person but I'm completely fine with that. I don't know if you used to be more social, but I don't see anything wrong with limited interaction among peers.

You are right DD, you are right that love can be a purpose...and I support that one should dedicate their life to a purpose like love.

About love, I remember a Punjabi song in which the male singer says "I've seen all the world from America to Russia to Malayasia, there is no difference anywhere, everyone has a condition for love...someone falls for my looks, someone wants my company, someone wants my faithfulness...but NO ONE wants my problems...only YOU are the one who wants my problems"

See DD that is the model of ideal love, true love can only be unconditional and its all about devotion and sarifice. Bravery is not in being a dashing hero, or killing or getting killed...bravery is in sacrifice. Modern culture does not have patience to create such love...but there are people who still truely love, love a human or a deity or God. Love, art, philosophy and science lead to the same goal...some call it God, some call it the purpose. Where there is devotion, where there is love, where there is sacrifice...there is the purpose. This I feel aswell aswell as I have heard.

Einstein said that "if there is a purpose of the existence of the universe, then there is a purpose of our existence aswell". Even thought a human child cannot be labeled as being born for a purpose...but it is for sure that he/she will be driven by the basic instincts like love, hatred and fear...being human, or being any other form of life is in fulfilling the natural forces that drive us...as humans we care for our soceity, nation, race etc...no one can let another human of their own community die...we care, we love...so love is the ideal of being human...why not base a culture based on the instinct of love. Some soceities base their culture on the instinct of fear, but love is greater than fear..more powerful.

But DD, I dont know if I am able to love someone with the deepest emotions..I am a loser, not like a man...I am a coward...few months ago I went to a pilgrimage, and I prayed to the saints shrine that please let me have a purpose and the ability to love. I dont know what I would get, but atleast I know that I am being true to myself, atleast verbally.
